MACUSA 2 - The Structure of MACUSA
Today we will be moving onto the second part of our MACUSA lesson - the structure of MACUSA.

MACUSA is made up of numerous departments and is overseen by a singular president. There are 12 known departments:
The Body for Protection of Magical Species
The Department of Aurors
The Department of Magical Law Enforcement
The Department of No-Maj Misinformation
The Department of Unidentifiable Magical Objects
The Department for Confiscated Items
The Federal Bureau of Covert Vigilance and No-Maj Obliviation
The MACUSA Surveillance Wizarding Resources Department
The Magical Cleaning Department
The Major Investigation Department
The Office for Magic Relations and Education
The Wizarding Resources Department

I will be discussing 5 of these departments with you in today's lesson:

The Department of Magical Law Enforcement
This is the largest department in MACUSA and is responsible for upholding magical laws in America. For comparison, it is said to be a mixture of the British Ministry's Department of Magical Law Enforcement and their Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophe's

The Office for Magic Relations and Education
This department is assumed to have at least some jurisdiction over Ilvermorny, but its main job is to give out cultural and educational information.

The Major Investigations Department
This department answers to the Director of Magical Security and is in charge of capturing wanted criminals and preventing the exposure of the wizarding world to No-Majs.

The Department of Aurors
This department is specifically tasked with catching dangerous criminals. To again compare the department with its British counterpart, the American Aurors are more militarised with ranks such as 'captain' and 'chief' which the British Aurors don't have.

The Wizarding Resources Department
This department is located on Level 101 and is tasked with answering questions and reporting incidents.

Now to finish your lesson, it's onto your assignments.
